Privacy Policy
Memento does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on external servers. Everything you enter stays on your device.
All data — your birthdate, journal entries, saved quotes, practice history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using SQLite. There is no cloud database, no user accounts, and no server-side storage of any kind.
Memento collects no data. We have no analytics, no tracking pixels, no crash reporting services, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs that phone home. We do not know who you are, where you are, or how you use the app.
Memento makes no network requests. The app functions entirely offline. All content — quotes, prompts, and calculations — is embedded in the app binary.
Memento uses local notifications to remind you of your morning and evening practice. These are scheduled on your device and do not involve any external push notification server.
The remaining days calculation uses general actuarial data (CDC NCHS, 2024) combined with lifestyle factors you provide. This is for philosophical reflection only and does not constitute medical advice. The inputs you provide never leave your device.
Deleting the app removes all data permanently. Since nothing is stored externally, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Memento is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Memento's core commitment — your data stays on your device — will not change.
